Design thinking: thinking differently in a complex world
We live in a time when problems are becoming increasingly complex. Systems sometimes hinder people rather than help them. And without realising it, we often continue to think as we always have. Yet these times call for fresh ideas and a new way of looking at things.
Design Thinking offers exactly that. It helps you break free from fixed patterns of thinking and makes room for creativity, intuition and curiosity. Not only do you learn to approach problems in a different way, but also to see opportunities that would otherwise remain hidden. It is precisely there – in the unexpected – that the greatest scope for innovation often lies.
It is a people-oriented approach that always puts the customer or user first. You investigate what people really need and translate that into smart, creative solutions. The great thing is: anyone can learn it.
The process is practical and playful, but also structured. Design Thinking is all about doing, learning and adjusting. By quickly testing ideas and improving them step by step, you get closer and closer to solutions that really work.
Its strength also lies in collaboration. Bringing people with different perspectives together generates surprising ideas. Diversity in thinking leads to better results – precisely because everyone contributes something unique.

What can I do for you?
To give you an idea of what such a programme might look like, I have included a sample schedule for a two-day Design Thinking course below. But don’t worry – we always tailor the format to your needs. Perhaps a one-day session would be more suitable, or a longer programme in which we delve deeper into the practical aspects.
Would you like to find out whether Design Thinking is right for you or your organisation first? I also offer a short two-hour introductory course. In this session, you will experience in an accessible way what makes Design Thinking so powerful when tackling complex issues.
Let’s learn to see, think and act differently together.

Feel free to get in touch to see what I can do for your organisation.
